From Concept to Reality

3D Modelling Capability in Practice
At the Decatur Civic Center, chillers used for maintaining ice on the indoor skating rink as well as the arena's climate control system were due for replacement. With the help of 3D modelling software, we were able to design the equipment and piping layout, then pre-fabricate the vast majority of this piping prior to any piece of equipment being taken out of service. Because of this, we were able to complete the demolition, replacement and re-piping of two 160-ton water-cooled chillers as well as their respective condenser and evaporator pumps without interruption to the arena's regularly scheduled events.

Whether it is for your new building's plumbing or HVAC system, or a complex industrial piping process, Burdick Company has the capability of producing professionally-made blueprints as a means to best convey the finished product to the end-user.
